So, we here at fish.cloud fell in love with Norwegian ice princess Sally Shapiro this past week. We're all atwitter over her blissful bubblegum disco goodness. Just more proof that Norwegians really are the coolest people around, "Disco Romance" is a bouncy party album in the same vein as Lindstrom's "It's A Feedelity Affair" LP, gleefully embracing its italo-disco influences and revelling in its own retro aura. "Sleep In My Arms" is a brilliant slab of milky smooth synth pads and down-tempo drum patterns, all with Shapiro's disembodied German mutterings drifting luxuriously atop the mix. We'd give anything to wake up next to this chick, her breathless coos enticing us to hit that snooze alarm just one...more...time...
